Disclaimer
We provide tools for the management of Cardano wallets. We are not responsible for user's assets in any given moment. Cardano assets are stored by Cardano blockchain and managed by the user's private keys. We make all reasonable security efforts to keep our services safe.
Privacy
This Privacy Policy explains how information about you is collected, used and disclosed by Adaly (“we” or “us”).- Beware of scammers! We do not call or contact you, unless you contact us.

- Information on our website (transactions, balances, rewards..) is public, derived from Cardano blockchain. The only exception being addresses derived from your public keys.
- Addresses you make payments from or receive funds to are disclosed to public Cardano blockchain.
- Sharing stakeable addresses allows the other party to search blockchain by staking key (located inside the address) to locate your other stakeable addresses and discover your wallet balance along with transaction history.
- We do not exchange, sell or buy FIAT currencies or any other store of value. We might offer these services in the future.
- Our wallet services are free of charge. Except optional staking pool fees (in case you choose to delegate to our staking pools). Staking pool fees are deducted from each earned reward and never from your funds. We might offer monetary services in the future.
- We do not use cookies.
- We do not use visitor analytics software.
- We do not gather your data (more than needed by the provided services). Furthermore our website's database runs in read-only mode.
- We store your session data (settings, wallet keys) in 'Local Storage' located in your browser. This lets you to reload the page without the need to re-login. These keys are encrypted and will be removed after logging out. Your wallet settings will be kept over sessions.
- We use server side caching techniques to speed up repeating requests.
- We save various technical logs of requests and errors. Logs are kept private and will not be kept for long.
- It is important to log out upon finishing the use of the wallet. It is vitally important to log out when using the mnemonic phrase to log in!
Security
- You should be using Ledger Nano X or Ledger Nano S hardware security device! This keeps your private keys secure.
- Keep your backup mnemonic phrase private! Keep it offline. Do not enter it on any site (even here)!
- Beware of scammers! We do not call or contact you, unless you contact us.

- Beware of scammers! Exchanges do not send you e-mails with steps to follow.
- For ledger users. We suggest the use of fairly long passphrase! You might want to avoid using Ledger Live app after setting this passphrase. Ledger Live app is needed to keep your Ledger firmware / Ledger Cardano app up to date.
- Connections between user and us are made using SSL encryption with a valid certificate.
- We use various security headers (CSP, anti XSS..) and other techniques to avoid fraudulent activity.
- We provide a contact form for reporting problems or suspicious activities.
- Private keys are used to sign the payments. Ledger private keys are stored securely inside the hardware device. Mnemonic private keys (you should not use this method!) are kept encrypted in the 'Local Storage' or your browser, with both parties holding part of the secret encryption key.
- Public keys are used to derive your wallet addresses. Public keys are encrypted and stored inside the 'Local Storage' of your browser.
- We have released some parts of the source code on GitHub. We do not share most of our source code publicly, as it makes finding exploitable conditions easier.
- We own the physical servers we use to host the site.
- We gather data from the blockchain ourselves and do not use 3rd party blockchain API services.

About staking
Earn 4-5% rewards annually by staking your ADA.
There are two ways an ADA holder can earn rewards: by delegating their stake to a stake pool run by someone else, or running their own stake pool. Running your own stake pool is a challenge. It takes effort to set up properly and rewards are chaotic unless you have millions of ADA staked.
It makes sense to delegate your stake to an existing stake pool. Delegation has costs. These costs are taken out from the rewards, never from your funds. Cardano staking does not lock up your funds.
Costs of staking are following. Pool fee is 340 ADA per epoch (5 days) and is divided between all pool delegates. Meaning, small pools have a larger pool fee per person than larger pools. Pool earns set percentage of the reward (not percentage of your funds). This percentage is set by the pool owner and is usually around 3%.
For example. Let's say you have 10000 ADA delegated to a large pool with 3% fee. Average reward per epoch (5 days) is going to be around 10000 * 5 days/365 * 0.045 = 6.16 ADA. Fee that is taken out is 6.16 * 0.03 = 0.1848 ADA. Shared pool fee will be ~0.07 ADA.
